The Lambda Literary Awards
What an amazing night!
I was so honored to receive a Lambda Literary Award last night for my book "Open: Love, Sex, and Life in an Open Marriage" (Seal Press, 2008). Thank you to the Lambda Literary Foundation for this wonderful honor.
I was in SUCH shock when they called my name. I had nothing prepared so I did my best to bumble through my thank you's. The evening was so much fun.
(I still can't believe I won!!!)
Huge congrats to you! You wrote a great book and have worked hard, so you're very deserving of this award.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you!! You certainly deserve as much recognition as you can get for your lovely book. I'm almost done with it and am already planning to buy a case of it and give it out as a holiday present this year. It's going to take it place beside The Ethical Slut as my most recommended book about poly and open marriages. I am SO happy you wrote it, and EXTREMELY happy you won such an important award for it!!
